You are invited to join us for Puppy Preschool at Wyndham Veterinary Clinic!
Puppy preschool is available on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from between 4-8pm. It is a 5 week course, with the first session being an information night, followed by 4 interactive classes which are held at our clinic. Depending on the class time, some classes are held indoors and some are held in the carpark out the back – The carpark is cleaned prior to class and training is held in a large playpen to ensure your pup’s safety. Puppy preschool is for younger pups aged from 8 – 14 weeks. All puppies must have had their first vaccination (vaccination certificate required if done at another clinic). Older puppies are welcome to attend Puppy Parkour.
You will learn how to give your puppy the best start in life including; socialisation, basic training via reward based training methods, information on oral health, nutrition, exposure and much more. Each puppy is welcome to have two guests (children are welcome and must be over 10 years and accompanied by an adult). You must have your puppy on a lead with a suitable flat collar. Mats are provided, but it is advised to bring a small blanket your puppy is familiar with to help them settle and feel comfortable. We also recommend you bring a variety of treats and a toy for your puppy. Do not feed your puppy dinner as we will use treats during the training session.
Puppies have the chance to learn socialisation in a controlled environment
Bookings are essential! Speak to our friendly reception team to make a booking. Classes fill fast so if you wish to attend it is required that you book well in advance. Be aware payment must be made at the time of making the booking. Places are limited to allow individual care and instruction. Due to the popularity of our classes, enrollment places cannot be reserved unless payment has been received. To see the current cost, please visit our price list.

We are very lucky to have our qualified dog training instructor, Holly, on our team. With over 10 years experience training dogs. She holds a Certificate 3 in Dog Behaviour & Training and Certificate 2 in Animal Studies.
Holly runs Wyndham Veterinary Clinic’s Puppy Pre School, Puppy Parkour, General Obedience and Private Dog Training Sessions.
